The counselling services at Napier Family Centre help whānau, individuals, couples and children build happier lives. Our team of experienced and qualified Counsellors and Therapists are all members of professional associations. We work with clients in Napier, Hastings, Central Hawke’s Bay and Wairoa.

We pride ourselves on offering a professional and confidential service with as few barriers as possible. Without the need for a referral, we aim to provide a service that is easy to access. Our counselling service is available to contact Mon-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. If you need to talk to someone outside of these hours please freephone or text the National Telehealth Service on 1737.

Cyclone support

Napier Family Centre is offering free counselling support to those affected by Cyclone Gabrielle and other recent weather events. We know the recovery process will be long and complex for many individuals, whānau and children in our community, and mental health support is a critical part of getting our region back on its feet.
