Supporting Families’ in our Community

Supporting Families’ in our Community

It’s been a busy time here, since Christmas.
We ended the year, thankful to have been able to support so many local families, with our Christmas Cheer appeal. More than 400 Christmas gifts for Families, Adults and Children, provided by our Community, were personally delivered by our staff to homes.
The kindness was overwhelming, and it was humbling to have been able to once again, deliver gifts on behalf of our Community to many Families’ in our city. To everyone who gave so freely, including volunteers, a huge thanks, from us to you. We always hope that the Christmas spirit of giving can continue through the year, and continue to make our city, a great and caring community.
This month, we are busy setting dates for our Education courses. These courses support Families’ to help build a more positive and nurturing home environment so they can have healthy family relationships and build happier lives.
Our Emerge Programme, is for our young 10-12 year old, boys’ and girls’,and commences on the 23rd February, running for 8 weeks.  This course helps children to develop social skills and confidence.

Also, our Incredible Years programme, is set to start in March.
This is a truly ‘ incredible’ programme that increases children’s social competence at home, and at school.
